This painting has its history. At first, it was a simple landscape of a forest in May. Then, other idea followed and the original painting was almost completely transformed. When I was younger, I could stare at this forest for hours.

A fascinating vision juxtaposing both a child-like and mature view of natural beauty: Between two worlds by ~wiewiorka. ( Suggested by ~inatheblue and Featured by `oedalis )

Very beautiful, great concept. It makes me think of those carved animal figurines from Oaxaca.

I kindof dislike the white lines spacing the forest apart, kindof sloppy transition between the two "worlds" (If I can call them that.) Other than that, I like it alot. :)

That's simply beautiful. I love the color and texture, and I could stare at a forest for hours myself. Awesome work!

Your mixing of fantasy & artistry and reality reminds me of when I go out into the woods myself and let my imagination run wild... simply beautiful. Wonderful idea, technique, and composition.

what a neat idea! i like the think white lines separating the "real" from the "imaginary," if you could call either that. it's too bad it's so dark, though.
