Umm, allright, so there's time to say something

This morning my Mom called to the lab asking, what's happened? So many comments at once and still more coming. Did something broke, or is it a mistake?
"Okay" I laughed. "Remember when I told you about Daily Deviations?"
"Hmm, all right", she says, but doesnt' seem convinced. "And what does that mean, exactly?"
"That the moderators choose your picture among many others, it appears on the main site and that's why so many people coming."
"Ah." I know the tone. Mom's hiding the excitement.
Later at home I tell her it's only the beginning, because last time I looked it was 7 AM at devArt. She's already browsing the messages, reading some of them, and asking me to translate idiomatic expressions. We'll try to answer before Christmas!
